Context: Kaiso Studio is a global design company I founded with friends in 2021. As a member of the team left, we aimed to professionalize, marking a significant turning point for the studio. Therefore, we wanted to symbolize this change through a redesign of our logo and graphic identity.
Meaning: I firmly believe in the significance of conveying a message through any design rather than just “make it look aesthetic”. Our old logo had no specific meaning, that is why we wanted a redesign.
As illustrated below, the logo is modeled in the blueprint of the apartment where we operate, seen from a top-down perspective.
